drink_cktl_marg Authentic Mexican Margarita - This phenomenal, authentic Mexican margarita recipe, is made with a blend of fresh fruit juices and of course, lots of Tequila! Absolutely perfect for those summer backyard BBQ days, when you will not have to drive.

Cook Time: 0 mins
Main Ingredient: Tequila
Difficulty Level: 1

Ingredients to make Authentic Mexican Margarita

2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Orange Liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz agave nectar

**For those of you who don’t know, agave nectar is a sweetner and can be found in the grocery aisle (usually near the honey).

Directions to make Authentic Mexican Margarita

Step 1:

Fill a shaker with ice. Add the tequila, orange liqueur, juices and agave nectar. Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. Pour (without straining) into a 12 oz double old fashioned glass with a salted rim.
